Peace and Quiet of Zen Gardens

One of the most common features that Japanese parks have is a zen garden where equilibrium and balance of everything is very important. When you visit their country, you will be amazed at how beautifully landscaped these areas are and how patiently care takers work at achieving balance with all the elements in these areas. Zen gardens have quiet composition of air, water and land elements. In many instances, frog statues are added as a decorative touch to a water fountain along with other rock piles in the midst of sand circles. However these zen garden are composed and set up, they all bring a certain peace to anybody who sits or stays near it.
