Culture Up at the National Palace Museum

A must for culture kids of today. There are cultural treasures and valuables housed at the Taiwan National Museum and some of the must see exhibits include the Pork Stone and the Jadeite Cabbage with Insect display. Displays with a lot of people hanging around are usually an important or popular piece so take your time exploring around. Afterwards, grab some dimsum at the place above the museum for some filling snacks.

Discover the Night Markets

Taiwan is well known for its night markets where you can find almost everything you are looking for. You can check out the Shilin Night Market which is the largest and most popular night market in Taipei or try waking around Raohe Street Night Market. These are child-friendly and safe place to explore in Taiwan. Just remind your kids to stay close and set a meeting place if one strays away.
